Postpartum Planning

There is so much focus on the pregnancy and the birth. Then after birth, the focus shifts to the baby and the mother is often left feeling discarded. Additionally, there’s emphasis on the birth plan, but what about creating a postpartum plan? Believe it or not, the new mom needs just as much care as the newborn. In my Postpartum Planning offering, I invite the mama-to-be to begin envisioning her postpartum life. I connect her with customized resources and services as we create a plan that includes support and community for when the baby arrives. Women who have a history of mental health issues and/or a history of sensitivity to hormonal fluctuations have a higher risk of developing PMADs, so it is crucial to plan ahead for potential mental health needs.
